Support For Victims Alcohol Anonymous
Welcome to Our Supportive Space
If you're here, you've already taken a courageous step on your journey toward recovery. This page is dedicated to providing encouragement, resources, and a virtual hand to those navigating the path of recovery within Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Whether you're just starting your journey or have been on this road for a while, remember that you're not alone. Dealing with family courts can be difficult and deeply emotional.
Here at The Access To Justice For Families Foundation we understand that sometimes alcohol can be used as crutch and coping mechanism for the pain and trauma each victims endures. However, alcohol affects our mindset and deregulates our emotions which in turn destabilises our core, and affects our mental ability to stay calm, rational and centred. This can be used against victims during the litigation process by Agencies who fail to recognise people need help and support, not judgment and aggressive Court orders.
We always encourage families to be sober which benefits their health physically and mentally. Healed, sober mothers and fathers make better parents for their children.
AA is a very useful free tool to help with coping better with stress, trauma and anxiety without the need for alcohol dependency.
